If you are a classic car enthusiast and are in the Basingstoke area this coming September then you may not want to miss a fun packed day hosted by the Basingstoke MG Car Club, they are raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and offering doughnuts and refreshments, a 50 mile run in the surrounding countryside, vintage and classic car displays and a raffle!
The Basingstoke MG car club caters for MG car owners to classic car owners in the surrounding area of Basingstoke, Hampshire. The club has been in existence for over 35 years and they currently have over 50 members and meet every 2nd Tuesday in the month at the Fox Inn Andover Road Newfound RG23 7HH from 8 PM. The club organises club runs, skittles evenings, charity money raising events and social gatherings throughout each year. The event is sponsored by Beech Hill Garage in aid of the Alzeihmer’s Society who are the leaders in fighting against dementia.
We will be providing their communications for this rally and loaning them a whole host of two-way radio equipment to make this event run smoothly, we wish them a great event and we hope the weather stays nice so everyone can pose in their classic cars for the day!
